Delivery Information

At HortiCentre, we offer multiple ways for you to receive your order, including free in-store collection, free local delivery and various delivery options. Your delivery charge will be displayed at checkout, and you can find an overview of our services and pricing below.

When placing an order, you have the option of creating an account. With your personal Horticentre account, you can view your past and current orders.

Currently, we can only deliver living plants locally. If you try to order trees, roses, or other plants outside our local delivery area, the webshop will automatically block the order.

Other than living plants, we deliver a ton of our other products for free within a 5 mile radius from our garden centre.

Seed Packet Delivery 

• £3.60 flat rate for all seed orders beyond 5 miles of Horticentre.
• FREE delivery for orders within 5 miles of our store.

Unfortunately, our current courier does not deliver fireworks. Until we find an alternative, fireworks can only be delivered locally.

Gift Voucher Delivery

• £3.60 flat rate for delivery via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed.
• High-value vouchers may require special courier delivery for insurance purposes (additional charges may apply). If so, we’ll contact you to discuss options.

• Collect your order same day or next day, depending on when you place your online order.
• 100% free of charge – no minimum spend required.

Free Local Delivery (Within 5 Miles of HortiCentre, Overton)

• FREE delivery within 3 to 5 working days for all orders.

Delivery Beyond 5 Miles of HortiCentre, Overton

Standard Items (Excluding Heavy/Oversized goods)

• Orders under £40 → £6.99, delivered within 3-5 working days.
• Orders over £40 → FREE delivery within 3-5 working days.

Medium, Heavy & Oversized Goods

• Medium-sized items (non-palletized): £15, delivered within 3-5 working days.
• Palletized heavy/oversized items: £69 per pallet.
  • Our system charges for 1 pallet only at checkout.
  • If your order requires more than 1 pallet, we will contact you to arrange an additional £69 per palletdelivery charge.

Heavy & Oversized Items 

Certain products—such as bags of compost, gravel, bird seed, large plastics, tools, and boxed items—may require special courier or pallet delivery.

• Shipping costs will be displayed at checkout once you enter your postcode.

Some locations are subject to additional delivery surcharges. If your delivery address falls within one of the areas below, the website will calculate the charge at checkout.

  • Postcodes: AB31–AB38, AB41–AB56, BT1–BT94, FK17–FK21, G83, GY9, HS1–HS9, IM, IV1–IV49, KA27–KA28, KW0–KW99, PA20–PA99, PH15–PH99, TR21–TR25, ZE1–ZE3.
• Isle of Wight:
  • Postcodes: PO30–PO41 → £15 additional surcharge.
• Jersey & Guernsey: We cannot deliver to the following postcodes:
  • Postcodes: JE1–JE5 & GY1–GY10.

• Our courier will also provide a tracking link so you can follow your parcel’s journey.
