HortiCentre is a friendly family run traditional garden centre on the A642 mid way between Wakefield and Huddersfield near the National Coal Mining Museum. We concentrate on selling core gardening products at competitive prices and stocking them in depth. Having one of the largest fruit and ornamental tree displays in the area and boasting no fewer than 7 different types of grow bag, a similar number of compost brands, many unusual own brand wild bird care feeds, constantly changing plant offering and monthly special offers makes us we believe ‘every gardens friend’. Our customers range from knowledgeable professionals, allotment gardeners, enthusiastic amateurs to beginners.

We offer free local delivery within a 5-mile radius on all our products, along with a nationwide delivery service for many other items. We know that many of our customers enjoy spending time with their dogs. To help ensure the comfort and safety of all our visitors, we only permit dogs if they are carried at all times while on the HortiCentre premises.

Please note that dogs are not permitted in our restaurant, unless they are registered guide dogs or assistance dogs accompanying their owner.
