Maris Peer seed potatoes produce one of the most magnificent looking haulms ever seen. Maris Peer tubers are oval shaped with white skins and a firm, creamy coloured flesh.
The flowers on the foliage are even scented which makes them unusual for a seed potato. Waxy and superb flavour. Heavy cropper. Good for boiling and salads.
Maris Peer are particularly well suited for second cropping and harvesting at Christmas time.
Second earlies are typically ready for harvesting around 15-22 weeks from planting. Disease-wise they have good resistance to all skin diseases.
